We stayed at The Hideaway Huts for a 3-night break and it was absolutely perfect. The attention to detail in the furnishings and amenities is exceptional. Helen, the lady in charge, is so helpful and welcoming, but also respects your privacy. The location is idyllic, surrounded by peace and tranquility. The welcome pack of local goodies, including Helen's delicious cake, was a lovely touch. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay and would choose it over a regular hotel room any day.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

The cabin was well-stocked with all the necessary amenities, including pots and pans, utensils, and basic supplies like tea and coffee. the host also provided a generous breakfast pack with fresh baked bread, eggs, bacon, and more. the location of the cabin was great, as it was close to attractions like Vindolanda, Housesteads, and Sycamore Gap.
The bed and pillows were a bit too hard for our liking, and we could hear some road noise from the nearby A69. There was also a slight smell from the septic tank in the mornings.

This place is situated in a stunning location with breathtaking views. The huts are well-equipped with everything you need, including a fully-equipped kitchen and a spacious bathroom with a washing machine. The hosts provide a delicious welcome pack with homemade treats. The huts are strategically placed for bird-watching, with bird feeders and binoculars provided.
The bed and pillows were a bit too firm for my liking.
